Nilok Sewing Classes

The Nilok Foundation's 'Sewing Skill Development Program' is an inspiring initiative aimed at teaching sewing skills to women. This program is offered free of charge and includes women living in slum areas, helping them move towards self-reliance.

About the Sewing Course
Through this course, women not only learn the art of sewing but also gain the opportunity to study this new skill in depth. With 36 classes held from Monday to Friday, we ensure that all participants receive thorough and high-quality instruction.

Inclusive and Accessible
All necessary materials for the sewing course are provided free of cost, making it accessible even to socially and economically disadvantaged women. This ensures that every woman, regardless of her background, has the chance to benefit from this program.

Empowerment Through Competitions
Upon completing the course, students' hard work and learning are celebrated with a competition. The top three participants are honored and awarded prizes, along with certificates of achievement. This not only acknowledges their efforts but also boosts their confidence and sense of accomplishment.

Making a Difference
Through this effort, the Nilok Foundation provides a crucial pathway for women’s empowerment, enabling them to become more active participants in society. By offering a practical skill and fostering self-reliance, we are creating positive social change and enhancing community prosperity.
